Call for Applications: Biennials Connect Grants 2025

The British Council has opened the 2025 call for the Biennials Connect Grants, offering up to £9,500 to biennials, festivals, and visual arts organisations based in the UK and eligible countries. The programme aims to promote international collaboration and support the participation of visual artists in large-scale cultural events.

Grants are available exclusively to organisations—not individual artists—and should focus on new projects or collaborations with visual artists aged 18 and over. Proposals are also expected to reflect strong practices in diversity, inclusion, and fair working conditions.

Applications will be accepted from 23 June to 14 September 2025. Two information sessions will be held on 9 July to guide interested organisations. Selected projects must take place between February 2026 and February 2027.
