Open call for the 5th edition of the AZCUY Award

The call for applications for the fifth edition of the AZCUY Prize will be open until July 21. This award has been established as an initiative that seeks to promote and disseminate the creative process of Argentine artists and collectives. This renowned art contest is organized in partnership with the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires and the Fundación Azcuy. Specifically, a jury of specialists will select an unpublished work that will be permanently located in one of the Azcuy real estate company's buildings.
This call is national in scale and is directed to Argentine individual artists or collectives (or those who have resided in the country continuously for more than three years). The jury will select 5 finalist projects, each of which will be awarded US$1,000 to further develop their proposal. The results will be voted on again to select the winning work, which will be announced at the end of August. The artist or collective will receive a $10,000 prize. The jury for this edition will be composed of Victoria Noorthoorn, Diana Campbell Betancourt, Sebastián Gordin, Adriana Bustos, Jimena Ferreiro, Sol Juárez, and Gerardo Azcuy.
