apexart Open Call for International Exhibitions 2025-2026
apexart is now accepting exhibition proposals for its 2025-2026 season. The apexart Open Calls provide an opportunity for artists, curators, and other professionals to turn their curatorial ideas into an exhibition with the support of the apexart team. An international jury, consisting of over 600 people from 70 countries, will select the proposals through an online voting process. Proposals must be submitted between February 1 and March 1, 2025.
Interested parties should submit an original proposal for a group exhibition involving at least three artists working independently. Biographies and links should not be included, and the proposal must be written in English. It is also essential that applicants have previously visited the location where they plan to organize the exhibition in order to better understand the logistical and cultural challenges of the space.
Selected proposals will receive up to $10,000 USD to cover production costs, including artist fees, artwork shipping, and other exhibition-related expenses. Additionally, apexart will cover logistical costs such as insurance, publicity, and documentation. For exhibitions outside New York, apexart will provide up to $1,000 USD for exhibition space rental.
