The Art Omi International Artist¿s Colony offers three-weeks residences for visual artists for July, 2004. This art center is located approximately two and a half hours from New York City, in the historical Hudson River Valley. Artists must cover travel- and materials-related expenses, and donate one of the works created during their residence to the Omi Foundation Collection. The program includes a critic ¿in residence¿ who will facilitate dialog with artists during visits to studies, as well as daily visits by dealers, artists, and critics from New York City.
