The Universidad de Buenos Aires announces the opening of its call for stimulus grants directed to undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students from this higher education institution or from any other university in the republic of Argentina. The call also offers PhD Completion Grants.
Candidates may be 35 years old or younger by the closing date of the call. Up to 15 percent of the grants can be assigned to candidates who are between the ages of 36 and 40. There are no age restrictions for the PhD Completion Grants.
At least 30% (thirty percent) of the stimulus grants will be awarded to candidates whose director of grants is a student researcher.
Up to two grant candidates from each research project may be postulated: an undergraduate student (stimulus) and a graduate student (graduate, post-graduate, PhD completion), with different directors participating in the project.
Candidates must include the following information along with the application form: a photocopy of the National Identification Document (DNI, its Spanish acronym); the academic record of the CBC and/or UBA XXI; academic record of the career; a resolution of the teaching position of the director. The languages certificate must be enclosed with the SIGEVA inside the section Relevant Background. If the candidate fails to include the language certificate, it will be assumed that he/she does not have any knowledge of the language.
Applications will be accepted from March 18 through April 5 of 2013.
