Open Call 2024, Fragmentos, Espacio de Arte y Memoria

The Fragmentos, Espacio de Arte y Memoria 2024 program, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the National Museum of Colombia, has launched a call aimed at plastic and visual artists, as well as those with a transdisciplinary perspective, Colombian or foreign. This initiative invites participants to create artistic interventions in rooms 1 or 3 of the space, which are to engage with the counter-monument. The goal is to explore diverse memories of conflict, both locally and globally, within the framework of contemporary art.
The selected project will receive an economic stimulus of one hundred sixty million Colombian pesos. The results of the call will be announced on November 4, 2024, on the Fragmentos website and social media.
Requirements for applicants include a professional trajectory of more than ten years, demonstrated through individual or collective exhibitions, as well as presence in catalogs or other artistic publications. Participation is allowed both individually and in constituted groups, provided that at least half of the members meet the required artistic trajectory criteria.
