The call for submissions to the Huétor Vega International Photography Competition is now open to amateur or professional photographers of any nationality.
The topic is open. The jury will select a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize winner among the submissions. Submitted photographs must be mounted on a hard support, 40 cm x 50 cm. The format of the copy, color or b/w, is left at the discretion of the participant.
Submissions will be received through June 12th, 2012, at 9:00 pm. Submissions must include the name of the author on the back, as well as a postal address, phone number, and DNI number.
Finalists will be included in an exhibition in El Carmen de San Rafael de Huétor Vega, in a space of the photography-only "Paso del Zute" project, from June 22nd through July 4th, 2012. Winners will become the property of the Huétor Vega city government; al other submissions will be returned to their authors within three months after the results are announced, provided they include a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
Prizes will be awarded in cash on June 22, 2012, at 9:00 pm, in El Carmen de San Rafael de Huétor Vega.
The following prizes will be awarded:
1st Prize: 600 Euros
2nd Prize: 350 Euros
3rd Prize: 200 Euros
