The Culture Department of the Centro Latinoamericano de Economía Humana with the sponsorship of the Fondo the Ayudas para las Artes Escénicas Iberoamericanas (Iberescena), present the First International Congress on Cultural Management in the city of Montevideo in Uruguay.
Beginning on August 27, 2013, the congress will be a space for the exchange of ideas and reflection in which to debate cultural politics, encourage communication among managers and promote the profession and the role it plays. Prominent experts from several countries will arrive in Uruguay to offer talks and share their knowledge and experiences about cultural management and the challenges that this area of work offers. Through different forms of participation, for the period of four days Montevideo will receive the visit of Héctor Schargorodsky and Luis Alberto Quevedo (Argentina), José Teixeira-Coelho, Antonio Albino Canelas-Rubim and Ana Carla Fonseca-Reis (Brazil), Toni Puig and Alfons Martinell (Spain), among others.
