El Barrio Today photo contest

The El Barrio Today photo contest encourages El Barrio residents and visitors to capture what they consider to be its spirit and essence. The contest is part of an arts cluster initiative of local organizations to promote the neighborhood as a cultural destination. Photos will be judged on four primary categories: Relevance, Clarity, Composition, and Wow-Factor. A panel of judges comprised of community leaders, artists, and curators will select twenty-five semifinalists. Winners will be chosen by public voting and will receive cash prizes; semi-finalists will be featured in a photo display on-site at our museum. Contest runs NOW through September 15.
