SP–Arte inaugurated on Saturday, March 18th, its permanent space, Casa SP–Arte, for holding exhibitions and events related to the visual arts in São Paulo. The space will occupy one of the residences designed by the artist and architect Flávio de Carvalho (1899-1973) for Vila Modernista, in Jardins. The house is the only one among the 17 that has been completely restored to its original form.
The Casa SP–Arte opening exhibition “Hélio Oiticica: mundo-labyrinth” is a solo show that brings together works from different phases of the artist's production. The show is organized by the Gomide&Co gallery and its artistic director, Luisa Duarte, and is open until July 22, 2023.
