Grants for Use of Temporal Spaces and Workshop Grants

With the goal of promoting culture and supporting young creators, the Fundación Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa opens the call for artistic projects in any discipline-individual or collective-to be created in 2011. Grant Modalities: A. Ten Grants for Use of Temporal Spaces For use of temporal spaces at the Bilbao Arte Fundazioa, to create projects whose spatial requirements are different from other works developed at the Foundation' art production workshops. The artists selected for the use of temporal spaces will also have the Center's infrastructure at their disposal, through the various art production workshops. Assigning a Temporal Space requires that such space be continuously used throughout the assigned period. Absenteeism and/or not using the space to its maximum potential for the purposes it was originally granted for will lead to the loss of the right to use such space. Ten grants will be awarded in this modality, and each grant will include a purse of up to 6,000 euros. B. Ten Workshop Grants For projects that will be developed in the various art production workshops at the Bilbao Arte Fundazioa: engraving and serigraphy, new technologies, sculpture, photography, and filming set. With no exceptions, this grant does not include the allocation of any space to create the work, at it is explicitly forbidden to use any space at the Center for storing work. Ten grants will be awarded in this modality, and each grant will include a purse of up to 4,000 euros. Individuals interested in participating in any of the modalities must submit the following documents: - A dossier of the project proposed that indicates on its cover the modality in which it should participate. - Curriculum Vitae (in the case of collectives, present the C.V. of each of the participants). - Any graphic documentation that is deemed relevant. - temized Budget for executing the project.
