Created to support the work of artists and creators from around the world and to promote the sharing of technical know-how and interests among artists and their co-existence in a pleasant, collaborative, and mutually respectful environment, the III Milenio Corporation is now accepting applications for its III Milenio Grants. The grant consists of a stay in an International Residence for Artists and Creators, located inside a Touristic-Cultural Complex known as Complejo Mirador del Jucar. Each winner of the residency must elaborate an autonomous and individual artistic project to be developed without the supervision of an academic. This program is directed to fine and visual artists (painters, sculptors, drawers, etc), art students, graduate students, professors, creators, designers, publicists, photographers, writers, poets, journalists, film and TV screenwriters, producers, directors, composers, etc., from any part of the world with no regard for nationality or place of residence. Participants must be at least 18 years of age. They must send their completed official application forms with their project proposals, whose realization must be attainable within the installations of the Center as well as that completion of their works also be compatible with other activities; the duration of their stay, as well as the dates they wish to attend, must also be specified. Each applicant is also required to include an Artist¿s mission statement (a brief text indicating the reasons behind their artistic motivations and their objectives), a motivation letter, a résumé, a photograph of the artist, as well as three photographs of the work. Each grant may consist of up to 6,000 Euros, depending on the project presented, the duration of artist¿s stay, the number of persons participating in the event, and the number of persons accompanying the winners.
