The Fundación Jumex invites Mexican students to participate in the "Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo" scholarships program centered on the training and specialization on art studios. As part of its mission, the program seeks to promote the production and research of contemporary art in Mexico by supporting Mexican students in the completion of full time graduate and postgraduate degree programs attended in person abroad. Candidates must apply online at the scholarships' homepage before March 31:

By registering there, candidates will be able to initiate a session, edit their application forms and attach any required paperwork before the application deadline (April 30, 2017). The scholarship can be applied to the following areas: 1. Registration and tuition. 2. Transportation. •One economy class round trip airplane ticket (only for first time applicants). •Local public transportation. 3. Maintenance (which may include): •Lodging, preferably in a university dorm or student pension. •Food (exclusively for the beneficiary's consumption). •Books and/or production material (all production expenses are subjected to approval). Applications will be reviewed by the committee of the Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo. The committee's decision will be final and unappealable. Without exception, there will be no feedback offered to those candidates whose applications were rejected. The selection will mostly center on the priority areas and based on the following criteria: •Academic excellence. •The candidate's profile and the consistency between his/her education and professional experience. •Relevance of the institution and study program selected. •Sound reasoning and viability. The call will remain open from March 1 to April 30 (before midnight) of 2017. The review of the applications will be completed during the months of May and June.
