Light Work is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide direct support to artists working in the fields of photography and digital media. Light Work invites photographers from anywhere in the world to compete for a series of grants to become part of a one month long artist-in-residence program in Syracuse (New York, US) to develop creative projects. Benefits: -A US $5,000.00 stipend. -A furnished artist apartment -Private digital study -Private dark room -24-hour access to Light Work's state-of-the-art facilities What is expected of the artist-in-residence? To spend his/her stay developing a personal project that must be completed so it can eventually become part of the Light Work Collection. Likewise, the artist-in-residence is invited to impart conferences and/or be available to other artists and students from the region. How to apply? The application process is performed online by creating an account and completing an application form. Light Work will confirm the submitted applications with an email sent from SlideRoom.
