As part of the collaborative efforts between the Fundación Iberdrola and the Museo Nacional del Prado, the 3rd call for Educational and Research Scholarships in Restoration is now open.
The call invites individuals under the age of 35 who can meet the application requirements for the two scholarships in the Area of Restoration of Paintings and for the Technical Staff of the Museo del Prado.
The announced calls will aim at completing the education of future experts and to promote research.
Candidates must submit their applications accompanied with the following paperwork by February 28 of 2013:
- Photocopy of D.N.I. (Spain's National ID document) and N.I.F. (Spain's tax identification Number).
- Curriculum Vitae that lists the candidate's academic record.
- Two letters of recommendation signed by two active professors who had the applicant of the scholarship in their classes.
- A description of the project—up to 5 pages long, doubled spaced—centered on the scholarship and that includes at least: objectives, proposal of the project, index and basic biography.
- A 2 page—doubled spaced—written statement about the reasons behind the project and the results expected from it in the context of the scholarship.
- Documents that corroborate that the candidate is up to date with his/her tributary and Social Security contributions.
In addition, each area must satisfy a set of unique requirements.
The Scholarship offers a purse of 15,000.00 euros. It will begin in September of 2013 and will have a duration of ten months with the possibility of applying for an extension.
