With the purpose of bringing contemporary art closer to all sectors of society and to divulge the creative and vital example of Joan Miró, this Foundation reserves one of its fellowships for an arts education project.
The project must focus on the visual arts and is to be carried out at the Foundation. The funds provided are a total of 4,000 €: 1,200 € for the design and conception of the project (to be handed out at the moment of its concession) and 2,800 € for its execution at the foundation, including travel and daily expenses, housing, workshop production, and workshop dynamization.
The project must promote and motivate the coming together of a specific sector of the public (teachers, students, adolescents, adults, seniors, citizens with disabilities, etc.) and contemporary art. Educational projects can be related o the Foundation's documentary and artistic holdings or with any other aspect of contemporary creation. In judging the proposals, the jury will take into account their viability according to the foundation's infrastructure, organization, and educational equipment.
Specific Requirements:
a) The project must detail its foundations, objectives, content, methodology, objective audience, schedule, and an estimated budget. The document can be 20 pages , maximum.
b) The specific dates for the project will be determined based on the Foundation's program, preferably within a year from the announcement of the fellowship results. For reasons of internal programming, the project's schedule may vary, always in agreement between the parties. The fellow can present a request for extension, the acceptance of which will depend on the institution's internal programming.
c) Proposals can use are their point of reference the current trajectory of the Foundation's educational programs or propose new lines of work.
d) Fellowship recipients commit to delivering a complete report of the project and its conclusions within 6 months of its end. The possible development of the project into teaching materials adequate for the Education Area will be valued.
