Doctoral Scholarship in Latin-American Cultural Studies

March 13 is the deadline to submit all applications for the Doctoral Scholarship in Latin-American Cultural Studies at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, in Quito. Participation is open to Bolivian, Colombian, Ecuadorian, Peruvian and Venezuelan students who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement. Applicants must also have a Master¿s degree in a related discipline. Those interested must present the application form and be approved during the selection process. The scholarship includes free tuition, housing, and meals at the university residence. It also offers individual health insurance for the duration of the program and funds to pay for studying materials. The scholarship offers an opportunity for critical and multidisciplinary exploration from within the region, to expand the limits traditionally associated with studies about the culture and learning structures in Latin-America.
