Lens Photography Scholarship 2014

Lens Escuela de Artes Visuales announces the call for its Lens Photography Grant 2014 aimed at making accessible its Masters in Photography of Author and Professional Projects (4rd edition) to photographers. The winner of the scholarship will have the entire tuition cost paid for the duration of the Masters, which in this current edition has been estimated at 7,250 euros. There will be three Second Prize awards that will offer a 50 percent discount on the tuition of the Masters. Likewise, another 10 finalists will receive a 35 percent discount. The call is open to photographers of legal age, of any nationality and who live in any place in the world. Candidates assume and accept the rules of the call. The winner of the call must enter the Masters in October of 2014. Each candidate must create a compressed zip or rar archive with the candidate's first and last names included in the file name. Then the archive must be uploaded to the WeTransfer Web service and the download link created and sent to the following email: becas@lens-fotografia.es. The compressed archive must contain the following: - A PDF document with the title of the photographic project and a description of such project. -From 12 to 15 numbered jpg photographs (1080 px. high). The photographs must be part of the same project or photographic series and be titled as follows: name_lastname_01.jpg -A PDF with the candidate's CV and a jpg copy of a government issued photo ID of passport (800 px on its widest side) -The compressed archive cannot be over 15 Mb in size. Only one submission per person will be allowed. Duplicate submissions or submissions that go over that size will be eliminated, as will those that do not respect the maximum specified measures. The deadline to enter all applications is April 30, 2014.
