On the occasion of the collaboration agreement between the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson and the Museo Nacional del Prado, signed on September 30, 2016, the call for the "Education and Research Fellowship in the Area of Flemish Painting and Northern Schools up to 1700" is open until August 24. Requirements: Candidates must have completed a university degree, or its equivalent, in Art History within the 2007-2008 period or later. Must have completed or be in the process of completing a doctoral degree in Art History or another related academic discipline within the Humanities. Must have not already been a beneficiary of this call offered by the "Museo del Prado." Terms of the Fellowship: The fellowship must be used to support the work of the head of the Area of Flemish Painting and Northern Schools, with a special focus on research. In accordance with the aforementioned collaboration agreement signed by the two institutions, the fellowship will have a duration of two consecutive months and will be financed in its entirety by the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson. The fellowship will include a purse of 18,000.00 euros. The candidate selected will receive this sum from the Museo del Prado in monthly payments that must be paid in full within the time period of the fellowship. Tax withholdings are applicable to wages. Applications must submitted to the Registro del Organismo Público Museo Nacional del Prado—located on 23 Ruiz de Alarcón Street, main floor, in Madrid, from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm. Applications may also be submitted in the other ways specified under article 16.4 of the 39/2015 Law. All applications must be addressed to: Director del Museo Nacional del Prado, Museo Nacional del Prado, C/ Ruiz de Alarcón, 23. 28014 Madrid. They may also be submitted in the homepage of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports or through the online registration sites specified under article 2.1 of the 39/2015 Law, from October 1, of PACAP. Candidates presenting printed versions of the applications and of the required paperwork will be able to ask the person in charge at the corresponding Public Registry to assist them in the digitalization of the documents. Once the transfer is completed and upon the successful online submission of all the documentation, the Public Registry representative will return the printed originals. Applications sent by regular or certified mail, Burofax (a registered fax service), or email will not be accepted. Printed versions of the application and accompanying paperwork submitted in person in Spanish diplomatic sites or consular offices around the world, must also be emailed in advance with the corresponding stamp that corroborates the in-person submission date to: registro.general@museodelprado.es.
