Flora Ars+Natura announced the recipient of its artist in residency grant for 2015. The jury composed of Camila Botero, artist in residency at FLORA 2014; Leonardo Ramos, artist in residency 2015; Pamela Desjardins, curator in residency; José Roca, Art Director at FLORA and Adriana Hurtado, Executive Director at FLORA, reviewed the applications of 50 artists and decided to award with the artist in residency grant for 2015.
The artist will be provided with a Workshop at FLORA until December 20th, 2015.
FLORA has several studios/Workshops in the third floor of its Bogota venue. Every year we will select four artists, who will be provided with a Studio to develop their work during periods that go from 3 months to a year, as artists in residency (they will work there but its not intended as a household). The Art Director at FLORA and the Curator in Residency will support the artist with their curatorial advisory during the residency.
Periodically and in late 2015, FLORA will organize exhibitions of the artists´ work in their workspace, in the mode of an Open Studio presentation. This call is for one of the four workshops.
