Adidas and the Border Cultural Center call Mexican artists and artists residing in Mexico, 31 years old or younger, to compete for 4 grants for the production of art projects. The fourth edition of the Adidas Border Grant, directed by Willy Kautz, focuses on the development of projects that imply collaborative dynamics in their investigation and production. Submitted projects must be in the visual or multi-media arts, with architecture, and/or design. and/or social science, and/or natural science, and/or formal science. The project will be developed over a six-month period, and must consist of a collaboration between artists and/or designers and/or architects and/or scientists, or between any of the disciplines mentioned above. This edition invites all interested candidates to design a pavilion or museographic mechanism for the presentation of their collaborative project. The museographic pavilion must be understood as an integral parte of the artistic proposal rather than a mere showcase or exhibition cube. Based on these criteria, candidates must conceive a single pavilion for the exhibition of their visionary, imaginative, fantastic, or critical project. Four grants will be given, for 56,000 Mexican pesos each. The deadline for submission is April 11th, 2014. For the complete requirements and the submission forms, visit
