Associação Cultural Videobrasil and SESC São Paulo announce the roster of artists selected to participate in the SESC_Videobrasil: Panoramas of the South Contemporary Art Festival, to be held from October to December, 2015. A commission formed by the Patronato Bernardo de Souza (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), Bitu Cassundé (Ceará, Brazil), John Laia (Lisbon, Portugal), and Julia Rebolledo (Sergipe, Brazil), along with general curator Solange Farkas, director of Videobrasil, selected 53 artists and groups from 22 countries. Their projects for artwork to be created and presented at the Festival's 19th edition will be detailed soon. The 19th SESC_Videobrasil Contemporary Art festival will present the works selected at the SESC Pompeia gallery (São Paulo), designed by Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi (1914-1992). Along with the exhibition, the festival's 19th edition will feature selected exhibition projects, guest artists, and the Videobrasil Collection, which will be presented in different parts of the city. As in previous editions, the Festival will also include a broad program with book launches, educational activities, and meetings with curators, researchers, and artists. Artists's list
