Association between Arizona State University Art Museum and the University of Sao Paulo United States / Brazil

The America Association of Museums selected the Museum of the University of Arizona for an association with the University of Sao Paolo, responding to a program in which 17 museums were involved. The selection of the Museum of Sao Paolo took into account that its collection of Latin American art, both modern and contemporary, is considered to be one of the best in the hemisphere. As part of this association, Ted Decker, in charge of the department of special initiatives of the Museum, will work during the summer in Sao Paolo, while a member of the Sao Paolo team will travel to the University of Arizona during autumn. The project also proposes a connection between the museums through the technology that allows the web, acceding that the visitors to the websites of each museum can learn about both institutions.
