The IDB Cultural Center organized the exhibition entitled Latin American Artists of Italian Descent that will remain open to the public until October 21, 2011. The exhibition includes 25 works by 18 prominent artists whose works are part of the IDB Art Collection. The exhibition includes works by Eduardo Medici, Emilio Pettoruti, Umberto Giangrandi, Héctor Borla, Sergio Camporeale, Ricardo Crivelli, Rogelio Polesello, Lyria Palombini, Roberto Sebastián Matta, Francisco Amighetti, Javier Bassi, Miguel A. Battegazzore, José Belloni, Enrique Broglia, Pedro Figari, Antonio Frasconi, Diego Masi, and Carlos María Tonelli. Félix Ángel, Director and Curator at the IDB Cultural Center, was responsible for selecting the works. On this occasion, Cristina Rossi, Professor of Latin American Art and Researcher at the Julio E. Payró Institute of the Universidad de Buenos Aires, was selected as Guest Essayist.
