Colombian artists at Meet in Beijing Art Festival

Ten Colombian artists are participating in Meet in Beijing Art Festival, to be held in Beijing with the goal of fostering exchanges between nations.

Colombia will participate as a special guest of the Chinese Ministry of Culture, with figurative and contemporary artists. The exhibition of their works will be held at the Beijing Library Convention Center. Colombia's participation was promoted by Bogotá's LGM Gallery, which has already brought the country's art to Asia in other occasions with the intention of testing the eastern market.

The Colombian artists participating in the festival are Hugo Zapata, Luis Fernando Peláez, Alfonso Álvarez, Gustavo Vélez, Mauricio Vélez, Rosina Bosio, Piedad Tarazona, Joaquín Restrepo, Efraín Zúñiga, and César Bertel.
