On October 23rd the Board of Directors of ArteBA Foundation appointed new authorities of the organization.
In the midst of a period of great challenges for the artistic sector, Larisa Andreani will assume the role of president of arteBA. Larisa has extensive experience in managing organizations as Director at Grupo Logístico Andreani, is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank in Argentina, and is very involved in the cultural field. Enthusiastic participant of the art scene, she has been a member of the Friends Association of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires from 2015 -president from 2017 to 2019. Since August of this year she has served as a member of the Board of Directors of arteBA.
Dr. Eduardo Mallea, who serves as a partner in the Customs department of the Bruchou law firm and is an active art promoter, will accompany her management.
As a first task they will review the objectives of the organization and form the 2021 agenda, the year in which the foundation's 30th year will be held. In this line, it will be their main tasks to analyze and face the actions and strategies that respond to the new challenges that it imposes in the post-pandemic scenario, as well as those that were gathered during the listening process.
"The conviction of arteBA is to continue to support the development of the artistic sector and to consolidate Argentina as the main Latin American reference for art. To achieve this goal, we know that we must put our efforts nationally: reaching artists, collectors and art enthusiasts across the country, and taking the fair to new provinces and regions," Larisa said.
