Through its Cultural Promotion Secretary, its Direction of Museums, and the University Museum, the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México us calling visual artists of any nationality to submit projects for solo of group exhibitions. Projects are accepted in painting, sculpture, art objects, installation, graphic arts, photography, video, and mixed techniques. Three projects will be selected for exhibition in 2015, each over an eight-week period, at the museum's "D" gallery. The selected projects will be grated funds in the amount of 15,000.00 Mexican pesos, from the UAEMex A.C. Foundation, and a printed certificate. For each selected project, the "Leopoldo Flores" University Museum will produce a catalog and/or leaflet, poster, and printed invitations. The Museum will also generate the curatorial and museographic projects, organize a press conference, promote the exhibition in every electronic media within reach, and design an interactive digital platform. Interested candidates can register online and submit all their information at http//arteabierto.uaemex.mx, through September 28th. A selection jury comprised of experts in the field will select the three projects to be exhibited in 2015. A their discretion, an honorary mention will also be awarded, which will be exhibited in the case that one of the three initial projects were not available for the date established with the artist or artists.
