Miami-based Cuban artist Antuan Rodríguez has created Antuan Lab, an alternative space for the development of multidisciplinary projects with aesthetic content, design and execution. The venue is oriented towards an awareness of the evolution-humanism-transformation relationship as a positive and proactive process of the contemporary man in his surroundings and environment. The laboratory emerged from a collaboration between Kertiles, Antuan Lab and the city of Doral, as result of the interest in creating an anti-industry city movement in which this laboratory will be open to encourage the creation of projects with industrial developers, architects, designers, filmmakers, musicians, dancers, writers, actors, and healers. Kertiles is an active member of the Doral Decor District Merchant Association and one of its objectives is the incorporation of art in its activities with the goal of contributing to culture and the betterment of the city. "Walk on White" represents the first project to fuse ceramic with contemporary art. Part of the project encourages the incorporation of art into the development of its products to offer an additional aesthetic and emotional value.
