The exhibition entitled "Tàpies: From Within" organized by the Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona, in collaboration with the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC), will remain open until May 3. Currently presented at the PAMM, where it is also curated by Vicente Todolí, former director of Tate London and current artistic director of Hangar Bicocca in Milan, the project offers a selection of over fifty large paintings and sculptures created by Tàpies. The works were loaned by the private collection of the artist and by the collection of the Fundació Antoni Tàpies in Barcelona. They offer an intimate and chronological survey of his artistic production from 1945 to 2011, the year before his death. "Tàpies: From Within" will offer the public a chance to enjoy a retrospective of the work of one of the most prominent abstract artists of his generation.
