The Triennial, which began in 1997, once again calls for artists from around the world to participate in its newest 2009 edition, the fifth since its conception. A maximum of three books can be submitted for participation, and these can be about artists or the books themselves as objets d¿art. They must be mailed before November 25 and accompanied by the application form to: 5th International Artist¿s Book Triennial Vilnius 2009 "Bokartas" Kestutis Vasiliunas Filaretu 9 - 5 Vilnius LT-01207 Lithuania. The projects selected will be exhibited in October 2009 at the Center of Contemporary Art in Vilnius, Lithuania. A catalog will also be published. It will be printed by a typographical method and hand-bound like an artist¿s book. The exhibit will travel to several countries in Europe and will also be shown at the International Works on Paper Fair held in Sydney, Australia, and at the Seoul International Book Arts Fair in Korea.
