The Valencian Photographic Group (AGFOVAL, its Spanish acronym) opens its 5th call for the 42 Autumn Salon of Photography. Photographers of any nationality who are residents of Spain may participate. Applications will be accepted until November 21. Works can deal with any subject, although the images must bring forth concepts that are new to photography Participants may submit three to five photographs per applicant. The photographs presented must not have previously received an award at any other national or international competition or must not have belonged to any other salon organized by AGFOVAL. Any technique and process may be applied to create the photographs. Image size must not exceed 40 × 50 centimeters. Digital images must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and be presented in the TIFF format. All photographs must be attached to a passe partout that is also no larger than 40 × 50 centimeters and this must be easily removable so that analog images can be reproduced for the catalog. The title of each work must be written on the back side of the passe partout that contains it and must be inserted in a sealed envelope with the title and complete technical information.
