Universidad de Antioquia is calling for entries to the National Culture Awards, which have honored artists, intellectuals and young artists for the cultural contributions to the country. Among past recipients are Álvaro Mutis, Meira del Mar, Giovanni Quesep, Jorge Artel, Javier Darío Restrepo, and José Manuel Arango, among others. Candidates can be Colombian citizens, regardless of their place of residence; foreign nationals residing in Colombia for at least two uninterrupted years; non-profit cultural organizations (in the Performance and Living Arts category); and groups or collectives. Entries must include a registration form, a CV, a photocopy of the candidate's ID document, and a CD with their work and all the submissions documentation. The categories and awards are as follows: 1. National Literature Award for Drama, with COP$19.330.500. 2. National Communications Award for Art and Culture Criticism, with COP$19.330.500. 3. National Arts Award for Performance and Living Arts, with COP$19.330.500. 4.
