40th National Watercolor Salon ICPNA 2012

The Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano announces its 40th National Watercolor Salon ICPNA 2012, open to Peruvian artists and to foreign residents in Peru.

The topic is open, but mixed-media works will not be accepted. Works submitted must be a minimum of 40 cm and a maximum of 70 cm per side, not accounting for framing and matting; they should be unsigned, framed simply in wood (frame: 3-4 cm.) and clear glass.

Each participant will present a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 watercolors, not previously presented to any exhibition or competition. The works must include, on the reverse side, the artist's pseudonym and the title. In a closed envelope, submissions must be accompanied by the following information: name of the author, I.D., address, telephone, email, title of the work, dimensions, and value (in dollars) for insurance purposes.

ICPNA will award three Acquisition Prizes. First Prize will be US$4,500; Second Prize, US$2,250; and Third Prize US$750. The winners will become the property of ICPNA.

Submissions will be accepted on Monday, October 22nd and Tuesday, October 23rd at Av. Angamos Oeste 185, Miraflores, Lima, Peru. ICPNA assumes no responsibility for works sent by courier.
