The Bogotá Festival of Cinema, in its 23rd version, to take place from October 4th -12th, opens the session to Colombians and foreigners to participate in the competition and its shows. In this opportunity the following events will take place: International Competition of New Directors, with the first three films of a director; Contemporary Cinema Show, with films by recognized directors; Retrospectives and Homage. As well as these are, the 7th Festival of Video which is a national competition, accompanied by an international show; the 5th Edition of the Prize for Best Documentary with works in international competition; the 4th Show of Digital Cinema, composed of various international films. It will also include the international competition of the 3rd Edition of the Prize for best Documentary of Art ¿Enrique Grau¿ and the 2nd Animation Show. The festival will emphasize a country that will be the ¿Guest of Honor¿ and from which contemporary and classic films will be exhibited. Productions for selection will be received until July 1st and inscription is free. The formats for selection are DVD and NTSC.
