Submissions for the 1st International Festival of Photography of Belo Horizonte are being admitted now, open to photographers of any nationality.
Participants can submit their entries through May 20th, 2013, free of charge. Photographers must present a series of 5 to 8 images along with their technical information, a brief description of the working proposal, a CV, and a portfolio.
Entries will be evaluated by curators Eduardo de Jesus—critic, essayist, director of the Associaçaõ Cutural Videobrasil (São Paulo), and a professor at PUC Minas (Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais)—and Patricia Azevedo—artist and professor at EBA-UFMG (School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais)—.
Works selected to participate will be exhibited in the Festival's show, to be held between July 12th through August 6th, 2013, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
