Madrid's Universidad Complutense presented its "Youth Prize 2011," the 14th edition of this competition. The call is open to artists between 18 and 35 years old, residing in Spain regardless of their nationality. The Visual Arts category is open to individual artists or groups working in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing or any other visual medium. Interested participants must present their works between January 30th and February 28th, 2012. Themes and techniques are free, but submitted works must not exceed the 2.0 x 2.0 meters in size. Installations must be accompanied by a technical card and a photograph of the completed project. Every work must be identified with the name and title of its author. Additionally, submissions must include an entry form (available in the Complutense Foundation webpage), photocopy of the artist's DNI, a digital image of the work in .TIFF, .JPG, or .EPS format at a minimal resolution of 300 dpi, and CV of the author following the University¿s requirements and style for this competition.
