The Escola Sao Paulo Independent Program

The Escola Sao Paulo Independent Program - PIESP ¿ has the duration of one year. The program is directed to young artists or those who are beginning their career. Conceptualized and created by curator Adriano Pedrosa, the PIESP Program will promote meetings between young artists and Brazilian leading artists and curators to discuss language and project development. The enrollment selection for the PIESP is now open and the selection period is open until December 11, 2009. The Program starts in March 2, 2010. The mediators are: Ana Paula Cohen, Beatriz Milhazes, Carla Zaccagnini, Ernesto Neto, Ivo Mesquita, Marcos Moraes, Rivane Neunschwander, Rodrigo Moura, Rosângela Rennó, and Leda Catunda.
