The Observatorio Itaú Cultural and Cátedra Unesco in Arts Management of the Universidad de Girona (Spain), announce the opening of registration for the third free-on-site and virtual-Specialization Course in Arts Management. The course is organized with the support of the Organization of American States and is directed to graduate Humanities students and/or professionals in any field with experience in cultural institutions. Candidates must register before August 31 of 2011 by filling the application form at the official homepage of the Observatorio. Additionally, applicants must send by regular mail a letter of intent and motivation¿no more than two-pages long-as well as a printed version of the syllabus to the following address: Avenida Paulista, 149, 11o andar, CEP: 01.311-000. The course is coordinated by Teixeira Coelho, professor at the Escuela de Comunicaciones y Artes of the Universidad de São Paulo (ECA-USP) and at the Museo de Arte de São Paulo (MASP), and by the Director of Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECI).
