Photography Contest for Latin America

Photography Contest for Latin America, Italo-Latin American Institute in Rome with FotoGrafia -International Festival of Rome in collaboration with the Municipality of Rome. General contest and residency guidelines: The theme of the photography contest is ¿the everyday¿. The contest is open to photographers under the age of 35 from member countries of the Instituto Italo-Latino Americano including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, The Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela. The best photographs will be selected and displayed in the IILA Gallery on the occasion of the 2008 edition of FotoGrafia - International Festival of Rome, held every April in Rome. www.fotografiafestival.it One winner will be selected from among the participants whose name will be announced March 15th, 2008. The prize consists of accommodations at IILA¿s guest quarters in Rome and includes a round trip airfare and expenses. During the stay the artist will develop a photographic project on Rome. The competition will run from December 15th through January 31, 2008.
