PerfoArtNet 2010

The Call for participation in the PerfoArtNew 2010, International Biennial of Performance to be held October 12-16, will remain open until March 15, 2010. The performances, conferences, and workshops will be broadcast live online through www.perdoartnet.org. The transmission system will be provided by our organization, and minimum requirements consist of having a PC with a webcam and microphone. The visual artists interested in participating must submit the following requirements: A theoretical description to substantiate the work (must not exceed one page); images of the proposed project (drawings, photomontages, photos, plans); photos of previous performances (jpg formatted, 200 dpi resolution), and a video (Quicktime, Avi, Wmp, or Mpeg). A list of the selected participants will be announced on our webpage and by e-mail to each of the chosen artists. Submission of all materials is an indicator that participants accept the conditions of the call. The performances will remain recorded on our webpage with a system that does not allow copying. The material will form part of the PAS archives and could be used to promote the event, for educational purposes, or in future publications by PerfoArtNet. There will also be a traveling exhibition of the materials submitted that will be presented in several countries. The authors of the works will be acknowledged in all of the publications in which their works appear, and at no point we will use the material for commercial purposes.
