The new architectural complex for contemporary art in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, in Bolivia, will be completed in July of 2014. It is an independent space directed to artists, curators, collectors, researchers, designers, and the general public. The space has two exhibition venues: Kiosko Galería and NUBE Gallery, a patio for events, Café/Bar, a library specialized in art-design and an archive that contains the data of national and international artists, a video library, a storage area, living quarters and a workshop. Founded in 2006, Kiosko Galería receives and shows projects by emerging artists and artists in residence. www.kioskogaleria.com Founded in 2013, NUBE Gallery is the new contemporary art gallery in the space. It offers exhibitions by internationally renowned artists working in different mediums and artistic techniques like: painting, watercolor, sculpture, photography, engraving, videos, digital media, among others.
