The seventh edition of Entijuanarte / creative border, a highly regarded cultural festival in Mexico's northeast, will be held October 3-9. This year, the State of Jalisco will be the guest of honor. The vertebral column of each edition of Entijuanarte has been a free-access collective exhibition where more than a hundred individual artists and groups, as well as public-sector, private, and educational institutions, display what is being created in that border area, in the country¿s interior, and in some foreign cities. This year, the event will present a special tribute to José Clemente Orozco, through a special lecture in an original format by Gregorio Luke, a renowned, international-level cultural promoter. Tijuana is once again ready to receive guests, artists, and the general public to the cultural feast that will also be the contest for the National Cultural Promoters meeting and a series of activities in several of the region¿s universities, which will function as alternate sites.
