Enbotellarte - International Art Competition

Something Special, a Pernod Ricard brand, marks its tenth anniversary of its celebration of art with the return "Enbotellarte", its international art competition for works of art inspired by its bottle.

Eduardo Bolioli first launched this project in Uruguay in 2002, and since then it has been held in several countries throughout Latin America. On this occasion, 6 Latin American artists received awards: Juan Christian Caguana (Ecuador), Angel Lara (Costa Rica), Francisco Bassim (Venezuela), Gabriel Morales (Guatemala), Camila Figallo (Peru), and Laura Hernández (Colombia). They created "self-portraits" that reflected their relationship with Scotch using techniques such as painting, 3D, animation, digital design, photography, and video, among others. The jury was comprised of Eduardo Bolioli, returning to his role as the competition's moderator, and Juliana Rosales.

Miami was the chosen site for the event's tenth anniversary celebration, which was held last November 15th at Trendy Studio with an exhibition of Enbotellarte 2012 winners and several participants from previous editions, invited especially for the occasion. Among them, Tony Vázquez (Miami), Mariana Monteagudo (Miami), Lily Acevedo (Guatemala), Francisco Martinez (Venezuela), Geovanny Verdezoto (Ecuador), Sheila Alvarado (Peru), Emanuel Rodríguez (Costa Rica), and Pia Bernal Tello (Colombia).

With Enbotellarte 2012, winners had the chance to exhibit their work and network among South Florida community, cultural, and business leaders.
