ArtNexus Guided Tours
Art Basel Miami Beach
For the past twelve years, ArtNexus hires qualified art historians and educators to lead guided tours at Art Basel Miami Beach. Tour guides must be knowledgeable, experienced, and visually literate in order to give context to artwork they may not have seen before, as well as answer questions related to contemporary art and the art market.
Tour Guide Position
Language: English and Chinese (Mandarin)
Part-time Temporary
Flexible schedule from Thursday December 3nd thru Sunday Dec 6th, 2015. Tour duration : one hour. Compensation: per hour.

Responsibilities: Deliver scripted, educational-informative tour within show's premises and outside for special exhibitions to students/ attendees; groups of up to 10 people. Duration: 1 hour /tour
Qualifications:
•B.A, M.A degree in art history or related field.
•Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•Working knowledge as museum educator, art related tours a plus.
•Contemporary Art, Art Market, Latin American Art background strongly preferred.
•Fluency in both Chinese ( Mandarin) and English
Schedule: The start date for this position is on December 3rd through Sunday December 6th, from midday until 8 pm (tour guides are on call during these hours; each tour lasts one hour). This position reports to the ArtNexus Guided Tours Coordinator.
