The Jubilee competition is open to all four categories: visual arts, architecture, creative writing, and music composition. The completion opened on April 23, 2014, all submission materials must be received by July 1, 2014. Marking its 50th year, the one-of-a-kind competition serves as a platform to promote and support visual artists, writers, architects and composers of Cuban descent from across the globe. Impact and Legacy celebrates 50 years of the CINTAS Fellows Collection, which is composed of works donated by the fellows in appreciation of the fellowship award. The Collection has grown to be one of the largest bodies of Cuban art outside of Cuba and continues to grow each year with each new fellow. Competition details and all program requirements and application forms can be found at www.cintasfoundation.org. Fellowships are awarded annually for the disciplines selected and announced on the web site for each year. The amount of the Fellowship is determined for each year and is paid in quarterly stipends, beginning in September, then December, March and June. The award is currently considered taxable income by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States. The CINTAS Foundation fiscal year starts on September 1st and ends on August 31st of the following year. The CINTAS Fellowship Program is administered by the CINTAS Foundation Board and Miami Dade College.
