18th Edition of the Visual Arts Grants 2010-2011.

The Fundación Marcelino Botín announces the 18th Edition of the Visual Arts Grants 2010-2011. The deadline to submit all applications is May 7. The grants are awarded to support education, research, or personal projects for a period of 9 months and end with the organization of the exhibition Itinerarios and the edition of an accompanying catalog. The call is open to persons of any nationality between the ages of 23 and 40. The support allocated for each grant includes a purse of 16,000 Euros when no change of residence is required; 24,000 Euros when relocating to a country other than the current place of residence, and 28,000 Euros when relocating to the U.S. The previously mentioned amounts factor in the expenses associated with trips, accommodations, maintenance, and studio rental. These amounts will increase to include the fees ¿ when applicable ¿ of the chosen academic center and medical insurance fees ¿ if relocation takes place.
